Over Paris
Through the engraving of this thousand franc air mail stamp we see the river Seine, Notra-Dame, and many bridges.
The image of this stamp appears in a delightful little book, Postmark Paris : A Little Album of Memories by Leslie Jonath. The book is a collection of recollections of a 10 year old California girl living in Paris. Each recollection is told with a related postage stamp illustration.
